Best Family Game Night Games
Remember Family Game Night?
Family game night is a time when the whole family can get together and have fun. It doesn't matter how old you are or how many people are in your family. Whether your kids are small or all grown up, of if you have a tiny family or a huge one, there's games for everyone. You can always join with another family, too, if you want to expand the fun and have more people. This bonds your family and helps your kids to develop life long friendships.
It can be lots of fun to gather everyone together for a few hours of fun and togetherness. Add a few snacks and a camera to capture all the funny moments, and you've got a great night of unforgettable fun. It's a great time to bond and to reconnect in today's busy world. Shut off all the technology, turn off the phones, and play some classic games on family game night!

Classic Family Board Games
Who can forget the classic family board games like Monopoly and Yahtzee? Our own Monopoly board was so used when I was young that we eventually had to get rid of it. The box was in shambles and the board wasn't in much better shape. Our Battleship set looks pretty similar. I actually got to play Monopoly again recently and it was just as much fun as I remember, despite the fact that I'm not a kid anymore and that I lost. There's nothing like the classic board games.
There's many classic board games and everyone has a different favorite. These are a few of my favorite games from growing up and I still love to play them today. These board games are classics for a reason. They've lasted through the ages of multiple generations of families enjoying them. You probably remember them from when you were young. Now it's time to share them with your own children at your next family game night.

Jenga
Jenga is a great game for the family to play together. Test how steady your hands are by taking turns trying to pull out a block and stack it on the top of the tower. The higher it gets, the harder the game is. If you can build the tower really high, it can be quite the challenge and produce a lot of laughs as you watch others try to keep the tower standing. There's lots of varieties of Jenga, from the classic to some new creative editions, so there's an endless supply of fun and laughs.
Ellen loves to challenge her guests with games. This might just be the biggest and best game of Jenga ever!
Uno
If you haven't played Uno before, now is the perfect time to try it out. It's a little like a fancy, complex version of crazy eights. My sister and I used to play it all the time and I still have our old (very worn out) deck. Uno is a classic card game and is sure to be a definite hit for family game night. It can be played with any number of people, from 2 to as many as you want. If you want, you can always buy a second deck if you have a large group.
So many kids today only want to play games if they're video games. If your kids refuse to give board games a try, compromise. Make a family game night where you compete against each other in a video game. Something like Mario Kart is perfect for this. Your kids will love it and you'll get to spend time together as a family.
